WOW！！ If I could give this book 10 stars I would！ I loved going back to the town of Bordeaux （bored ox） The friendships there are so fantastic and real。 I loved Fiona， she is a real sweetie， you can’t help but love her。 Then there is Grumpy Grant， the doctor who really is kind and caring if you can get past his gruff exterior。 And sunshine and happy Jayme。 This is the BEST story， it had me totally laughing out loud， belly laughing， I mean who would think of ‘fresh shot squirrel stew’ and then th WOW！！ If I could give this book 10 stars I would！ I loved going back to the town of Bordeaux （bored ox） The friendships there are so fantastic and real。 I loved Fiona， she is a real sweetie， you can’t help but love her。 Then there is Grumpy Grant， the doctor who really is kind and caring if you can get past his gruff exterior。 And sunshine and happy Jayme。 This is the BEST story， it had me totally laughing out loud， belly laughing， I mean who would think of ‘fresh shot squirrel stew’ and then the reaction of Jayme？ I was shocked at the turn of events， you have to read to see what I am talking about。 It also made me feel so sad for Grant and Jayme when difficult times came， and in the end I had tears of joy at the sweet things Grant said to Jayme。 This book is a book you want to read！ 。。。more

This is the first book I have read by this author and I loved it， it is part of a series but I don’t feel like I missed out by not reading the first few， I was still able to keep up and work out who everyone was。 Obviously I do recommend that you go grab the first few books of the series， that are available on Kindle Unlimited， that way you get to enjoy more of these great characters。Straight away I just loved Jayme， I thought this girl is my kind of girl！ She is a bit all over the place but she This is the first book I have read by this author and I loved it， it is part of a series but I don’t feel like I missed out by not reading the first few， I was still able to keep up and work out who everyone was。 Obviously I do recommend that you go grab the first few books of the series， that are available on Kindle Unlimited， that way you get to enjoy more of these great characters。Straight away I just loved Jayme， I thought this girl is my kind of girl！ She is a bit all over the place but she knows what she’s doing and she’s brilliant at what she does。 She is a beautiful bubbly soul and has a heart of gold， she doesn’t judge anyone and gives everyone a chance。 Now， I’m not sure I can say the same about our Dr Grant， can you say GRUMPY？？？ This man has the grumpiness down to perfection， he’s definitely lucky that he is easy on the eye haha。 He is also lucky that he comes with the sweetest daughter ever， sweet Fiona is 11 years old going on 30， she has her own set of issues but takes them all in her stride。I loved the small town of Bordeaux， yes， everyone is definitely nosy but man they look out for one another。 They are a close knit community but also very welcoming to strangers coming on the scene。 I loved Jayme and Grant， they made each other so happy and Brought the best out on one another， they taught each other that romance is an actual thing。Loved Fiona so much， she was one beautiful girl and I adored the relationship she had with both her dad and her grandfather， and also how she was so welcoming to Fiona。This is a clean， closed door romance， there may not be any steamy sex， but the chemistry these two share more than makes up for that。Oh and I loved the ending， it was perfect。Brilliant read。 。。。more

Aaaannnd we're back in Bordeaux！ The quirky little town in Ohio that makes me wish it was real so I could find an airbnb and spend a week， or two， maybe just relocate altogether。 Seriously， the people of Bordeaux are the best and we get to see more of them in DoctorShipped！ （Yes， for those interested， we see more of Duke！） If you've read any of the other books in the Getting Shipped Series， then you already know Jayme， the sweet author and roomie to Shannon。 She is all sunshine and cheerfulness Aaaannnd we're back in Bordeaux！ The quirky little town in Ohio that makes me wish it was real so I could find an airbnb and spend a week， or two， maybe just relocate altogether。 Seriously， the people of Bordeaux are the best and we get to see more of them in DoctorShipped！ （Yes， for those interested， we see more of Duke！） If you've read any of the other books in the Getting Shipped Series， then you already know Jayme， the sweet author and roomie to Shannon。 She is all sunshine and cheerfulness and she just might do a little stess baking， which turns out to benefit all those around her。 Grant is the new doctor in Bordeaux and for every ounce of cheer that Jayme has， Grant seems to have equal amounts of grump。 He also has a darling little girl， Fiona， who adds so much sweetness to this story and lets us see the softer side of Grant。 Their meet-cute and the scenes there after are absolutely delightful。 I love their interactions and I love how Jayme isn't out to change Grant， but she wants to understand him。 This my friends， is how the grumpy/sunshine trope is done！ I have over 120 highlights in this book。 That should tell you something about the amazingness of this book！ Savannah Scott has a way with words， one minute I'm cracking up with laughter and the next minute she's bringing me to tears。 Aside from an entertaining story， there is so much goodness in this story！ I don't have room to list all of the things I loved about this book， but here are a few: Jayme's nicknames for Grant （in her head）Fiona's nicknames for her grandfather Paint night 🎨The water fight 💧Cooter Mabel， Esther， and MeMawThe Little League gameGrant's grand gesture All the hearts and all the stars for this one！❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️⭐️❤️ DoctorShipped can be read as a stand-alone， but this is a series that you don't want to skip。 Read them all！ As always， this is a sweet， clean， closed-door romcom with some swoony kisses！ 。。。more

So good！！ I loved how Grant very grudgingly fell for Jayme。 They were the perfect opposites-attract couple， and having Fiona as the catalyst was adorable。 I was disappointed that Jayme suddenly lost her large vocabulary she'd had in the other books -it was such a great personality quirk！ I missed it， as a fellow logophile， but I also thought it would have been fun with her interactions with Grant。 Anyway， there were so many great little things I enjoyed， like the miscommunications about Brooks， So good！！ I loved how Grant very grudgingly fell for Jayme。 They were the perfect opposites-attract couple， and having Fiona as the catalyst was adorable。 I was disappointed that Jayme suddenly lost her large vocabulary she'd had in the other books -it was such a great personality quirk！ I missed it， as a fellow logophile， but I also thought it would have been fun with her interactions with Grant。 Anyway， there were so many great little things I enjoyed， like the miscommunications about Brooks， the change in her fortune cookies， and Grant's big surprise。 And the big conflict in the end was believable， not ridiculous like some romcom conflicts。 They both recognized how they needed to change， and did so to move forward。 Yep， definitely the best in the series！I received this book free from the publisher/author。 I was not required to write a positive review。 The opinions I have expressed are my own。 。。。more

What a fun story！ The character growth was so well written- loved how Grant came in touch with his tender side- well started to open it up to Jayme。 How he didn’t change being a grump but could smile more。 How intense he is at all he cares about。 Jayme the fierce pixie- loved that she had such snark but it was still kind。 Liked her mature response to Grant’s inability to be vulnerable。 How she stands up for herself but without being mean。 Who doesn’t love a man who pursues his lady respectfully What a fun story！ The character growth was so well written- loved how Grant came in touch with his tender side- well started to open it up to Jayme。 How he didn’t change being a grump but could smile more。 How intense he is at all he cares about。 Jayme the fierce pixie- loved that she had such snark but it was still kind。 Liked her mature response to Grant’s inability to be vulnerable。 How she stands up for herself but without being mean。 Who doesn’t love a man who pursues his lady respectfully and tenderly？ Such a tender romance， he better just keep pursuing her in marriage！ This story really is rounding out the series。 I'm hoping there’s a story for Brooks and Chris！ And maybe even Ella mae， she’s a bit much but kinda grows on you。This is a stand alone story， but will be more fun to read as part of the series。 Although some passionate kisses， this is a squeaky clean read （physical intimacy is left to marriage， nothing rude or crude， no swearing）。* I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of the book 。。。more

Jayme is perfectly fine being the last single one in her friend group。 While trying to get her career as a fantasy writer off the ground， she’s too busy to have time to date。 When she goes to meet the new town doctor， about tutoring his daughter， she realizes they’ve met before under more awkward circumstances。 Readers head back to the small town of Bordeaux for this fun， opposites attract romance。 Doctorshipped is the fifth installment in the Getting Shipped！ series。 This is a closed-door roman Jayme is perfectly fine being the last single one in her friend group。 While trying to get her career as a fantasy writer off the ground， she’s too busy to have time to date。 When she goes to meet the new town doctor， about tutoring his daughter， she realizes they’ve met before under more awkward circumstances。 Readers head back to the small town of Bordeaux for this fun， opposites attract romance。 Doctorshipped is the fifth installment in the Getting Shipped！ series。 This is a closed-door romance but there is still plenty of humorous banter and swoony kisses。 While this could be read as a stand-alone， I would highly recommend reading the rest of the series first。 Many of the characters from previous books make appearances and are integral to the plot。 （The rest of the series is also excellent so you will not be disappointed！）I love a clumsy meet-cute and this one is delightful。 Grant is far from looking for love when he moves to Bordeaux。 Most of the single ladies of the town see him as a prize to be had but he finds himself unexpectedly drawn to Jayme。 Jayme does her best to ignore her attraction to the handsome doctor but the more time they spend together the stronger their feelings grow。 I loved “watching” the relationship grow not only between Grant and Jayme but between Jayme and Fiona。 That little girl may be one of my favorite characters in this whole series。 I adore this author’s sense of humor。 I cackled loudly when Grant’s last name was revealed。 Her humor throughout the book is subtle but exceptional。 This is my favorite book of the series so far and I can’t wait for book six。 I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book。 All thoughts and opinions are my own。 。。。more

Bordeaux is one of my favorite fictional towns ever。 After this book， it’s even more so。 I loved how the town comes together in this book to help out Jayme。 But there is so much more to this book than that。How can you not love a grump？ Especially one like Grant who anyone can tell loves his daughter so very much。 Grant and Fiona were definitely a big part of this book。 And a great part too。 Fiona made me laugh with all of her pets。 And Grant made me laugh with how grumpy he was。 These two are so Bordeaux is one of my favorite fictional towns ever。 After this book， it’s even more so。 I loved how the town comes together in this book to help out Jayme。 But there is so much more to this book than that。How can you not love a grump？ Especially one like Grant who anyone can tell loves his daughter so very much。 Grant and Fiona were definitely a big part of this book。 And a great part too。 Fiona made me laugh with all of her pets。 And Grant made me laugh with how grumpy he was。 These two are so great！Then there’s Jayme。 I loved her optimism。 And all of her graphic tees。 Also the way she falls for Fiona right away。 Jayme is the perfect female lead。 I loved her so much！The plot of this one was so great！ You’d think， it’s a rom-com， no twist， right？ Well， you’d be so wrong with this one。 There was a huge twist。 And you’re never going to guess it before you find it in the book。 At least I didn’t。I loved seeing all of my favorite characters from Bordeaux in this one again。 All of Jayme’s girlfriends and their guys are in there。 It’s always fun to see what they’re up to。 You could read this one as a stand alone book。 But you’ll love it so much more if you read the other first。I loved every bit of this one。 You need to read it！I was sent an e-copy of Doctorshipped as a gift from the author。 All opinions are my own。 。。。more

This book felt like a mix of Everwood， Gilmore Girls， Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants， and a few other cutesy romcoms all rolled into one！ Having only read the first book in the series， I have only seen Jayme at her lowest point with her friends rallying to cheer her up。 Jumping forward to now， I could see how after seeing all of her other friends find guys， get married， and start families that she might be inclined to remain single indefinitely。 That is until。。。Dr。 Hunky McDreamBoat strolls i This book felt like a mix of Everwood， Gilmore Girls， Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants， and a few other cutesy romcoms all rolled into one！ Having only read the first book in the series， I have only seen Jayme at her lowest point with her friends rallying to cheer her up。 Jumping forward to now， I could see how after seeing all of her other friends find guys， get married， and start families that she might be inclined to remain single indefinitely。 That is until。。。Dr。 Hunky McDreamBoat strolls into town with his adorable daughter， at which time Jayme's bright and happy personality clashes with Grant's total grump persona。 I enjoyed their back and forths （very Luke and Lorelei）， and the fact that they were both set on remaining single set us up for some angsty pining。 Jayme's relationship with Fee was perfect and felt like Rory and Lorelei more than a traditional mom and daughter。 The way they worked together to help with Fiona's school was wonderful and showcased Jayme's patience and ability to relate to others。The gal group was so fun， lighthearted， and full of love！ In many ways， they reminded me of my own friends， and I feel like I could easily spend an evening jamming out to T-Swizzle with them while we eat ice cream and chat。 The thing that really took this one down a notch for me was the big conflict around the 80% mark。 For one thing， I did not see it coming， which is totally fine and isn't my beef with it。 The writing leading up to that scene really keeps you in the dark and lets that be a big AHA moment for you。 My issue is with how Jayme handles it all。 It was overexaggerated and even though Jayme had been through some turbulent relationship issues in the past， she acted very childish when faced with said conflict。 She didn't ask questions， she didn't stop to talk or try to reason， she just literally dropped everything and ran。 Then when Grant did talk to her， she didn't give him grace or try and understand why he might have skirted around the truth。 Maybe I'm reading too much into it。 It set up the big grand gesture ending and the little things leading up to it， but I just wasn't jiving with how the whole situation played out。 The ending grand gesture would play out really well in a movie/TV show， and I think in that format it would be a bit more impactful to the story。 It comes across okay on the page， but being able to see and hear it would amp it up to where it truly deserves to be。 The epilogue was lovely， and I love so much that Jayme was able to keep inspiring those around her！ 。。。more
